What to Expect...

Initial Evaluation

Duration: Approximately 1 hour, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to your appointment to fill out the necessary paperwork.

What to bring:

Please bring your prescription provided to you by your referring physician, written referral / authorization if required by your insurance carrier, your insurance card(s) for primary and/or secondary insurances and your Co-pay/coinsurance. Co-pays/co-insurance is expected at the time of each visit.  Also please bring a list of medications that you are currently taking.

Your calendar so we can schedule future appointments.

What to wear:

Loose-fitting clothing, we do have locker rooms for your convenience.  Aqua therapy would require a towel and bathing suit or shorts/shirt for in the pool.

Follow-up

Duration: Approximately 45 min to 1 hour. Generally scheduled for 2-3 times per week for 4 weeks, depending on treatment prescribed.  These appointments generally will alternate your treatment between your initial Physical Therapist and our PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant).

Re-evaluation

Once prescribed treatment is complete, your physical therapist will perform an evaluation to assess changes in your condition.  Upon completion, your therapist will decide if it is best to discharge you from therapy or if therapy should continue.
