Timothy Gould, PT, DPT
Tim is a native of Endwell, NY and attended Union-Endicott High School. He earned his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY and has currently earned his Doctorate at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. Prior to joining Oakdale Physical Therapy & Fitness, Tim practiced as a traveling physical therapist, during which he gained experience in acute, sub acute, long term, and outpatient settings across the country. His professional interests include orthopedic and athletic based rehabilitation, helping individuals return to their desired levels of function and participation. He has completed coursework conducted by PGA affiliated physical therapists, establishing a background in golf specific physical examination, exercise development, injury prevention, and performance training. He has completed various other continuing education courses as well since PT licensure in 2005, developing a deeper understanding and knowledge of many orthopedic conditions. He has spent considerable time focused in the areas of knee and shoulder pathology. Outside of practice, Tim enjoys hiking (with the dogs), camping, snowboarding, lacrosse, and golf. Running is an emerging activity, but he currently refrains from including himself amongst those who consider themselves “runners”. Runners possess a passion (some might say a slight obsession) that he doesn’t yet embrace, but he can certainly help mend their maladies and get them back to action.
